  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. For the filling: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook for 4–5 minutes until softened. Stir cornstarch mixed with water into the apple mixture and cook until thickened. Cool slightly.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Place a tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center of each biscuit and seal tightly.
  5. Dip each sealed ball into melted butter and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
