  • 4 oz brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blackberries, balsamic vinegar, honey, and salt. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down in the skillet. Layer with brie cheese and blackberry mixture. Top with remaining slices butter-side up.
  4. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese melts.
  5. Let rest for a minute before slicing diagonally and serving warm.
