  • 5 pounds red potatoes (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (or 2 teaspoons dried)
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 to 5 teaspoons horseradish sauce (to taste)
  • 3/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Boil chopped red potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (20-35 minutes). Drain and return to pot.
  2. Mash potatoes with milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, parsley, Parmesan cheese, and horseradish sauce until creamy.
  3. In a separate pan over medium heat, melt butter until browned and nutty. Pour into potato mixture.
  4. Mix well and serve warm.
