  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and stir-fry the green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes; pour over chicken and green beans. Stir well and cook for another couple of minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
