  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 yellow onion (grated)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for sauce)
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill (more for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with grated onion, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, cream, and egg until just combined. Shape into four patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until soft. Stir in salt, pepper, flour; gradually whisk in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add heavy cream and chopped dill; simmer until thickened. Return patties to skillet for an additional 5-6 minutes to warm through.
