  • Blue gel food coloring
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • Extra mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast; let it foam for 5 minutes. Add sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla; blend well.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt until dough forms. Knead until soft and slightly sticky; incorporate blue food coloring.
  3. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
  4. For filling, combine softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly and roll tightly into a log. Slice into 12 rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30-45 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare icing by mixing cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle icing over warm rolls and garnish with additional crushed cookies.
