  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium; melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add orzo and toast for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and chicken broth; bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until orzo is tender.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Add spinach and stir until wilted.
  5. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for an additional 2 minutes before serving.
