  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • Milk as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt; gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  5. Press half of the dough into a greased baking pan as the base.
  6. Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the pressed dough.
  7. Dollop remaining dough over the filling for topping.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool completely before drizzling with glaze made from confectioners’ sugar, almond extract, vanilla, and milk.
