Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar, then stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl mixture.
  4. Spread blondie batter evenly in the prepared pan; drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool completely before icing.
  6. For icing, beat softened cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy.
