  • 15 jalapeño peppers
  • 12 oz smoked sausage (chicken or turkey)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 4 oz butter
  • 1 Tbs garlic powder
  • 1 Tbs onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and place a sausage on top.
  5. Cut crescent roll triangles in half and wrap each stuffed jalapeño snugly.
  6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
