  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or alternative herbs
  • ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan on the bottom.
  3. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic base over low heat until warmed through. Stir in all but ¼ cup of parmesan.
  4. Slice potatoes into ⅛-inch thick rounds and arrange them diagonally in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes. Cover with greased aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 20 minutes until golden brown.
