  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Fresh ginger
  • Serrano peppers
  • Ground cumin
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Ground coriander
  • Curry powder
  • Garam masala
  • Ground turmeric
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • Coconut milk
  • Crushed tomatoes
  • Lemon juice
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Rinse the red lentils under cold water until clear. Soak them for at least 6 hours.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic, ginger, and serrano peppers for about 3 minutes.
